Paul Chin is an extremely conscientious agent with a true desire to serve his clients to the absolute best of his ability. He works with a cool confidence, remaining calm and putting everyone around him at ease while still managing to get even the most stressful things done with ease. He is a cornerstone of The Mike McCann team with a gift for guiding clients through real estate transactions in a manner that is thorough and anxiety free.

Personal History

I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I went to Boston Latin School. I graduated from Temple in 1993 with an Architecture degree. I have worked for John Hancock as a financial consultant. I also worked for Chrysler Financial and Towers Perrin. Of course, now I have found my home at the Mike McCann Team. Oh, I am also a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity.

Why Real Estate?

I love meeting and helping people. The people in Philadelphia are so down to earth and real. I love the size and the pace of the city – not too fast but not too slow, not too crowded but not too desolate. I like its proximity to other cities like New York, DC and Boston.  We are close enough to drive up and down for a weekend trip to some of the best cities in the country. The food here is spectacular, so many new restaurants, cafes and bakeries in Philly.  Philadelphians know how to eat! I just genuinely love Philadelphia and being a part of the culture here. I love helping people find their dream homes. I also enjoy seeing people happy and satisfied at the settlement table.

Off the Job

I’m always working – tough not to in this business.  When I do have time, I spend it with my 3 boys. We like playing paintball, video games and fishing.  I spend a lot of time working on my house and investment properties.  I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also love watching and playing sports.

Success tips

Don’t be afraid to ask or try. It is important to be knowledgeable in this business. If you don’t know something, be sure to find out the answer. Keep yourself motivated and stay creative. Listen to people’s concerns and always try to come up with solutions. There are plenty of challenges every day, take one issue at a time and try to figure the best and most efficient solution.  Not every problem may have the best outcome but I always try to get the best out of it.

Future plans

Hopefully I will be opening up a coffee shop/ bakery and desert bar soon. I am also slowly, very slowly, writing a book.

Don’t let Paul Chin’s low-key demeanor fool you, he is an extremely hard worker and he always keeps his eyes on the prize. He truly works for his clients, doing anything and everything that he can to make their experience stress free. If you are lucky enough to work with Paul Chin, you won’t be disappointed.
