Sprucing up for spring: how to jazz up your space with Pantone’s Color of the Year.

Spring is a great time to tackle a re-decorating project, and what better way to add a pop of color than with Pantone’s very-springy color of the year, Radiant Orchid?  This gorgeous floral hue can be used anywhere in your home, from as big as painting an entire room, or as small as incorporating decorative accents throughout your home.
Here are some great ideas to help with your Radiant Orchid re-do:

1. A fun place to start is your kid’s room. Splash some color and quickly jazz up their space for a fresh spring start! Radiant Orchid can be applied in a soft coat throughout the room, subtly featured in a wall decoration, or featured in some lighter weight bed pillow covers.

2. Using Radiant Orchid as an accent color really makes certain pieces within your home pop.  Trying to showcase a particular piece of furniture or highlight your favorite room?  Try incorporating a rug, some pillows, or even an accent wall!

3. Want to test out Radiant Orchid before fully committing to painting your entire home?  Why not try some floral arrangements in the purple hue?  That way, you can get a feel for the color before taking the plunge
.

4. There are a ton of tones that fit in with a Radiant Orchid décor theme. Not a huge fan of the bright purple? Pick a lighter shade! Want something more pink? Perhaps a orchid-inspired pink pillow could do the trick. Remember, it’s your style–don’t be afraid to get creative!
