The 3rd Annual Summer Block Party at the Piazza at Schmidt’s is kicking off in style this Saturday, May 5th, near your Northern Liberties home! The Piazza and it’s 80,000 square foot courtyard is an amazing venue for entertainment and any type of large gathering. It is located at North Second Street and Germantown Avenue, below Girard in Northern Liberties. Co-sponsored by Radio 104.5, this free family event will feature new bands and perform a total of five shows between now and September and the music is appropriate for all ages. This is an opportunity to share something fun with your family and friends who live in Northern Liberties. The Piazza also has five restaurants if you’d like to grab a bite to eat while you are out for the evening.
This weekend’s featured bands will be Neon Trees, Eve 6, and Darry Miller and the Veil. Future concerts will be held on Saturdays and are scheduled as listed below. All concerts will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Mark your calendars and plan on having a night on the town! Click here to find out more.
