Home of the Week: 406 Brown Street in Northern Liberties

If you lived at 406 Brown Street, located in Northern Liberties, your day could go a little like this:

Wake up in your wide open bedroom, filled with the morning sun, and go for a quick walk or run.   As you make your way through the neighborhood, you take comfort in the beauty of the plush trees, the peacefulness of the clean streets, and admire the other charming homes.

Head back home to fix a snack in the nicely lit kitchen, beautifully designed with wood cabinetry and bar counter.  Left overs can go inside the ample stainless fridge.  Head toward 1 of the 2 full bathrooms that you’ve justly claimed as your space.  The work day is about to begin and you’re ready for it.

You have 2 options.  You could drive 1 of your 2 cars (both nicely parked in the lot or lot behind your house) or take public transportation (just minutes away).  You choose to save some money and take SEPTA, while your partner takes one of the cars.

After work, you want to do something light, but close to home.  So, you head to The Piazza, an 80,000 square foot open-air arena that will have the game on, to meet some friends and co-workers for a drink.

On your way home, you stop by the grocery store to pick up some basics that were requested earlier.  You walk a few more blocks until you’re greeted by your beautiful brick façade and gorgeous shrubbery.

You unpack your items and decide to have one last moment of the day with your partner on the grand deck while the rest of the home is at peace.

So, what other features can be seen in this home?
  • large finished basement
  • yard with large deck and grass yard
  • powder room (totaling to 2.5 baths)
  • 3 bedrooms total
  • a neighborhood filled with restaurants like Honey’s, N 3rd, The Abbaye, Silk City, and more!
  • fantastic sites like Liberty Lands Community Garden and eclectic malls that have everything you could need- even in a pinch
