Meet The Mike McCann Team: Jim Onesti

Jim Onesti is the Willy Wonka of the Mike McCann Team. You may never see him come in and never see him leave but he is always there, typing away, shooting off emails, talking to clients, working with developers, all with his IPhone on his ear. His work ethic is undebatable and his focus is unbreakable. As a Seller Listing Agent, Investor and New Construction Specialist, Jim puts in a lot of work to make sure all of his clients and coworkers reach their goals.

Personal History

I was born and raised in Philadelphia. I have been with The Mike McCann Team for 15 years. Prior to real estate I had my Series 7 Financial license and worked with Fidelity Investments, the world’s largest mutual fund company.

Why Real Estate? Why Philly?

It’s in my blood. My father has been in the business for 30+ years. I grew up in this business and once I met Mike Mccann “The Real Estate Man” the rest was history. Real Estate is never dull, whether it is a good market or bad market, it is always fun and exciting to help people buy and sell their propreties. I love living vicariously through my clients as they experience great successes. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar, Philly is the best city on the east coast to live and retire!

Off the Job
Just about all of my time off is spent with my family, my wife Nicole and our two kids Cole and Dylan.
Success tips
It’s important to work hard and smart. You should always be honest and keep your clients best interest at heart.
Future plans
I plan on helping to grow our business and to help keep the Mike Mccann Team as the #1 Real Estate team in Philadelphia.

Jim does not waste a second while he is in the office. He somehow manages to get 24 hours of work done in 12 hours. He is always listening, always learning and always looking for ways to improve his skill set. Jim’s approach to this business is extremely inspirational. His hardworking attitude and continued growth serve as a model of professional achievement.
