South Street is great for a daytime stroll with the family, a solo shopping expedition or a night out with friends. Make sure you check out all of the awesome South Street events as well!

Stadiums

Of course, it wouldn’t be South Philly without our beloved sports stadiums, Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park and the Wells Fargo Center. In case you haven’t heard, Philly loves its sports teams! Nothing makes us happier than tailgating outside of the stadiums and rooting for the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers (and hating the Cowboys)! One of the biggest perks of living in South Philly is having the stadiums right in your backyard and getting to enjoy all the sports day Philadelphia enthusiasm right out your front door.

The new(ish) food and shopping scene of East Passyunk Avenue is a welcome addition to South Philly! This area is great for shopping, strolling and dining. We love browsing all of the boutique shops, exploring the endless list of delicious restaurants and stopping for dessert at one of the many ice cream and dessert shops.  East Passyunk is the perfect destination for foodies, families and those of us in need of some retail therapy.
