On Valentines Day, 1998, Tony Award winning Playwright, activist, performer, and icon, Eve Ensler began a movement to end violence against women and girls, called “V-Day.” Today, all around the world, you can find different cultures, races, and faces joining various events to promote awareness, raise money, and lift spirits centered on this issue. A wide number of benefit performances and events are held throughout the year, totaling to 5,800 V-Day events annually.
This V-Day, February 14th, 2013, Women’s Way will collaborate with Eve for One Billion Rising Philadelphia! At exactly 2:14pm on V-Day, Love Park will be filled with fearless individuals ready to STRIKE, RISE, and DANCE to end violence against women. Be there to watch or participate in their FREE Zumba session! Groups from all over the world will be participating.

Love Park is located at 1500 Arch Street in Center City. The dancing activism begins at 2:14pm and is set to run until 3:14pm.
