Whether you’re looking for a fairytale wedding in a traditional setting, or a modern ceremony in a more unique location, Philly has what you need. We scoured the city, looking for the best of the best in wedding venues.

 

 

Traditional

 

Philly lifers love a traditional wedding! You don’t have to be a lifer though to enjoy the finer things. The venues below fall into that classic style designed to please almost anyone. You can hold a full ceremony followed by a night of dinner and dancing at any of these locations:

 

Stotesbury Mansion

Arts Ballroom

Highlights: With both a Grand Hall and the Sylvania Ballroom, you can have high expectations for this Center City venue. According to The Knot it holds a whopping 400 people! Perfect if you have a huge family.

 

Ballroom at the Ben

Highlights: As seen in Silver Linings Playbook! Located in the iconic Wanamaker building, the ballroom has a classic feel. Bonus points if you reenact the Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence dance scene.

Highlights: In typical Manayunk fashion, this former train station has been repurposed as an event venue. The website lists exclusive vendors in every wedding category, from catering to photography. As far from a traditional country club as you can get!

 

Artesano Gallery

Highlights: You’ll get some great pics in this artsy venue. To make sure you’re the center of attention, only one event is booked per day.

 

Front and Palmer

Highlights: Up to 250 guests can be accommodated in this former barrel factory. The loft space is super modern, and looks amazing in a wide range of colors and styles. Whether you’re going for understated elegance or flashy fun, you’ll have the room to make it your own.

 

Unique

 

Transplant, student, lifer … whatever you consider yourself, this list is for all the non-conformists. Obviously, you want your special day to be held in an interesting location, and we thought the more classically Philadelphia, the better. We found options for you that will capture your love of our culture, whether your guest list is big or small:

Highlights: Planning a tiny wedding? Want to skip the typical pomp and circumstance? Consider the Magic Gardens if you’re inviting 75 or less. This unusual setting will guarantee your day is one to remember.

 

Franklin Institute

Highlights: If you think you’re the most dedicated Phillies fan out there, listen up. You can literally get married on the field at CBP. And the Phanatic will be in your wedding photos. What else could you want?
